Drizz Selected as Official Semi-Finalist in the BevNet Live New Beverage Showdown

Drizz, the Dallas-based zero-sugar mixer and energy-enhancer brand founded by Rodrigo Ricaud, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the BevNet Live New Beverage Showdown, presented by Coca-Cola North America's New Revenue Streams division.

Held December 7–9 in Marina del Rey, CA, the Showdown is one of the most influential stages in the beverage industry, spotlighting the most promising early-stage brands in North America.

Drizz was chosen as one of only 12 semi-finalists nationwide, recognized for its innovative approach to drink ritual, its zero-sugar formulations, and its vision of mixing boldly, living bravely, and creating moments of intentional connection.

Past competitors include Poppi, Liquid Death, Health-Ade, MALK, CANN, Sanzo, Pretty Tasty, and other category-defining brands.

Meet the Founder, Rodrigo Ricaud

Growing up between Mexico City and Texas, Rodrigo was shaped by two cultures that value community, celebration, and the kind of shared moments that bring people together.

A graduate of Jesuit Dallas and SMU, Rodrigo has always been guided by curiosity, creativity, and a natural instinct for bringing people together. That instinct led him to launch the Dallas Founders Club, a fast-growing community of entrepreneurs who gather to share ideas, support one another, and strengthen the city’s startup ecosystem, the same spirit that now fuels Drizz.

He created Drizz to make great drink moments simple, intentional, and easy to share, whether at home, out with friends, or exploring someplace new. As part of the Go Texan program, Drizz is proudly produced in Texas and built on values that reflect the state itself: craftsmanship, community, and a sense of adventure.

Now, Rodrigo is taking his Texas-born idea to the national stage as a semi-finalist in the BevNet Live Showdown, and inviting others to be part of the journey.
